Family Solicitor
Location: Cambridge or Peterborough

A leading law firm is currently looking to recruit a skilled and ambitious Family Solicitor to join their family law team. This Family Solicitor role is based in either Cambridge or Peterborough and offers the chance to work on a diverse and engaging caseload, including high-value financial remedy cases, Children Act proceedings, and more.
The Role: As a Family Solicitor, you will:
Work closely with the Partners to manage a varied caseload, including:
Financial remedy negotiations and proceedings for high-net-worth clients.
Children Act cases and preventative family law work.
Elements of international law matters, injunctive relief, and TOLATA cases.(Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act) claims.
Deliver exceptional client service while contributing to the team’s success.
Identify and develop new business opportunities to enhance the team’s profile.
Meet individual performance targets with minimal supervision.
Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
Adhere to quality standards and compliance protocols.
Mentor and support junior team members, depending on your experience level.
Stay ahead of legal developments through continuous professional growth.
About You: The ideal candidate will have: A recognised professional qualification with a solid background in Family Law. Experience handling cases such as divorce, high-value financial remedies, Children Act work, and prenuptial agreements. Familiarity with TOLATA claims and injunctive relief is desirable but not essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills. A proactive and ambitious approach to your legal career. Demonstrated success in business development initiatives. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively. A collaborative mindset with the ability to mentor junior colleagues. Proficiency in case management systems and standard office applications. A calm and methodical approach to problem-solving.
