Are you a confident and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse seeking a new and fulfilling challenge with flexibility and unwavering support? Huntingdon Vets for Pets have a brand new opportunity to join our revitalized team in our friendly, dynamic, and forward-thinking practice!

About us Our supportive and harmonious team consists of 2.5 Vets, 4 RVNs, 2 SVNs, and 3 receptionists. We benefit from a wealth of individual interests and specialized knowledge, including access to a visiting orthopaedic surgeon and specialist cardiologist.

Our purpose-built facility is equipped with cutting-edge technology, including digital X-ray, ultrasound, dental machinery, a fully equipped lab, and a dedicated theatre.

Situated near major transport routes, including the A14 and A1, our practice operates within a bustling Pets at Home store and provides free onsite parking for added convenience, giving you an excellent location to work!

About you Nurses are the heart of our practice and perform an integral clinical role in caring for our patients. You'll have great communication and organization skills and take pride in working to a high standard. You'll have an interest in and want to learn about the practice as a business, as well as how to motivate a team to achieve their personal and practice goals. The key to your success will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the Veterinary Nurse role, delivering excellent patient and client care.

Ideally, you'll be warm, enthusiastic, and down-to-earth with a proactive, positive approach who thrives working as part of a team. A strong level of general nursing is required, and above all else, you will be passionate and dedicated to providing an outstanding service for our clients and their pets. Our nurses are actively encouraged and supported to do schedule 3 tasks.

About the role This position is ideally full-time working 40 hours a week with no out-of-hours or late nights and only 1 in 3 Saturdays! We are open to discussing part-time hours too so please don't hesitate to get in touch if this is what you're looking for.
