Setting Out Engineer
Location: Inverness, Scotland
Aqua Tech Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a leading Civils Contractor to recruit a highly skilled Setting Out Engineer for an exciting wind farm project based in Inverness. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to join a dynamic team and contribute to a significant renewable energy initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
Site Preparation: Conducting detailed site surveys and setting out for construction activities. Technical Support: Providing technical guidance and support to the construction team. Quality Assurance: Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with project specifications and quality standards. Health & Safety: Adhering to all health and safety regulations and promoting a safe working environment. Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of site activities, including daily reports and as-built drawings. Coordination: Collaborating with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements: Qualifications: Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or a related field. Experience: Proven experience in setting out engineering, preferably within the renewable energy sector. Skills: Proficiency in using surveying equipment and software, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Certifications: Valid CSCS card and relevant health and safety certifications.
