Assystem is seeking a

Data Analyst Engineer

with a strong engineering background in either Electrical or Mechanical disciplines to join our team and be deployed on the Hinkley Point C project. This role is ideal for an engineer with a mindset highly attuned to project and data analytics, capable of managing and interpreting the significant volumes of data generated by a large-scale nuclear power generation project. The successful candidate will ensure data is structured and presented effectively to inform key decisions. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with EDF and project teams to understand data requirements and ensure its relevance to project objectives. Collect, process, and analyse large datasets generated by the Hinkley Point C project. Develop dashboards and visualisations to communicate complex data clearly to stakeholders and decision-makers. Support project teams with data-driven insights for enhanced decision-making. Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with project and regulatory standards. Work closely with IT teams to optimise data management systems and tools. Identify opportunities for process improvements and propose solutions through data analysis. My profile

Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau. Experience in managing and interpreting complex datasets. Ability to present data in a clear and meaningful way for various stakeholders. Familiarity with engineering and construction projects, preferably in a nuclear or regulated environment. Problem-solving mindset with excellent attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, SQL, or R. Familiarity with data management systems. Experience with large infrastructure projects would be beneficial. What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits package.
