I am currently partnering with a well-established, family-owned finance company who are seeking a .NET Developer to join their team in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. With over 40 years of industry experience, my client has built an impressive reputation in their sector and maintains a strong financial position.

The business has grown to over 120 employees, including a collaborative IT team of 13 professionals. They are currently looking to expand their development capabilities as they continue to grow and modernize their technology stack.

The successful candidate will join my client's web development team working on a range of internal and external applications. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days on-site just outside Sheffield, working Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week).

My client is seeking candidates with:

Minimum 4 years commercial programming experience Strong knowledge of .NET Core MVC/.NET Framework 4+ Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap Experience with JavaScript/jQuery SQL Server REST API/SOAP integration experience Source Control (Git/TFS) Visual Studio

Desirable skills include: Blazor Azure Mobile Application Development SSRS Crystal Reports

The role will involve: Designing and developing web-based applications Creating and maintaining complex web interfaces Testing and debugging across multiple browsers Working with internal stakeholders on requirements Participating in Agile development processes
