Role Introduction

You will be part of a team of Professional Services Project Managers within our managed services business to drive quality and value for our customers whilst maintaining high quality delivery within the Project Team. Working closely with Stakeholders such as our customers, Presales Architects, Account Managers and Operations resources. What You Will Do

Responsible for the delivery of a range of projects from medium to large in size within the ITO Professional services portfolio using the guidelines and the framework of the ITO professional services team. Project Initiation – The ability to produce a clear definition of a project including the project deliverables, risks, impacts and cost. Planning – Estimating the necessary effort and elapsed time to meet the defined deliverables in accordance with the Advanced Project Management Methodology. Ensuring that projects remain on track to deliver within the agreed cost and timescales. Project control – Applying control to the project. This will be reported on a weekly basis both internally and to the key stakeholders. Team leadership – Taking responsibility for establishing the environment necessary for the project team to successfully complete the required work. Relationship management – Establishing good working relationships with clients and suppliers. Technical Management – Having sufficient technical appreciation to drive the resolution of project issues as they arise and be capable of interfacing with the Technical Lead to address complex technical issues. Excellent Judgement – The ability to understand when to resolve and when to escalate. Financial responsibility for the budget and profit of implementation projects. Work with the Project Office to ensure that all Services are invoiced according to the terms of the customer contracts. To work closely with consultants assigned to the Projects to ensure customer satisfaction at all stages of an implementation, including regular feedback on issues and opportunities. Ensure the customer experience and overall customer satisfaction is at the forefront of each client engagement. Help to deliver effective utilisation across the ITO Professional Services Project Delivery team. Ensure that Professional Services project governance and delivery processes are complied with throughout the project delivery by all members of the project teams. Ensure scheduled work and all follow-up actions are completed in an accurate and timely manner, and help to facilitate close working relationships between project team members, other departments within Advanced, and customers. What You Will Have

You have the ability to inspire and lead a project team to strive for delivery excellence and continuous improvement. You have experience of Pre-Sales Consultancy and Project/Services Definition. You have experience of working in a managed services environment. You have experience of managing a range of projects, of various sizes, according to recognised project management methodologies. You have excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate at all levels. You are highly organised with the ability to prioritise multiple projects. You are highly analytical and able to work to KPIs (including utilisation, daily rates, backlog). A strong ability to lead discussions and gain agreement on the method of implementing the solution for the customer by setting their expectations at the correct level. Have a high-level understanding of the functionality of the company products as required. Strong organisational skills (time management, administration etc.). Ability to travel as required.
