Are you an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Manager looking for a new challenge, working for a leading industrial equipment supplier organization based in Derby? As a Maintenance Manager, you will have experience of working within a manufacturing company previously and will be supporting our customer through the effective management of a team of Maintenance Engineers. Producing reports and working alongside our customer to provide a safe, productive environment. Offering a salary of up to £52K DOE.

Job Role:

Providing mechanical and electrical support services at Healthcare sites. Report regularly on breakdowns and potential improvements. Give hands-on and technical support to engineers. Prepare and manage risk assessments & method statements for working processes. Supervise working practices whilst controlling quality, performance, and costs; and ensuring procedures are followed. Ensure spares are used effectively and maintain spare part stocks and records. Report on activities to be maintained as required. Build and maintain strong relationships with our customer and their team members. Submit a weekly timesheet to HR and ensure backup is in place to submit in manager's absence. Meeting final monthly deadlines to ensure timely payment of overtime. May from time-to-time be required to provide managerial absence cover to other sites at Sheffield, Dunstable, and St Helens. Manage task allocation within the team and keep personnel on track. Manage team workload levels and review requests for working additional hours. Ensure planned schedules and deadlines are achieved. Managerial requirements for Maintenance engineers that report into you.

Suitable Candidate:

Communication and people/customer skills. Multi-skilled maintenance background. Able to lead and develop teams and individuals. Able to develop maintenance and H&S systems. Able to be hands-on.

Hours of Work:

40 per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:30 including a 30-minute break. Flexible hours. Element of weekend working to meet customer needs. Additional hours at customer's request accrued at x1.5 the hourly rate. Option to take time off in lieu or have hours paid out.
