Long term temporary Health and Safety opportunity! Join a collaborative and tight knit team Full time, 40 hours and great office location This organisation is one of the largest crane hire companies in New Zealand and over the years has expanded significantly. They are now looking for a Health and Safety Administrator to come on board in a temporary capacity to cover parental leave. The role This role plays a crucial role in supporting the organisation's commitment to a safe and healthy work environment. It is an immediate start and is expected to go until October, with the possibility of extension. Key responsibilities include: Maintain and organise health and safety documentation, facilitate health and safety meetings Monitor and coordinate employee training requirements. Maintaining detailed records for health and safety performance, incidents, accidents, and near misses Communication of Health and Safety policies to staff and coordinate emergency response training and drills Schedule OH&S medical assessments and health monitoring and support employee wellness initiatives Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Preparation of audit and compliance checks What you will need: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a health and safety role or a similar administrative position. Strong understanding of health and safety laws, regulations, and best practices. Proficiency in maintaining health and safety records and documentation systems. Experience in coordinating and scheduling training courses and managing compliance requirements.
