Data & Measures Development Officer

working within the

Learning & Innovation Team , Child and Family Services. The post is permanent, full time. The purpose of this post is to guide, advise and lead from within the team on the development, design and implementation of effective Service performance measures. Ensuring Child & Family can quantify and understand its existing performance, utilise that data to then measure its efficacy for children, young people and families in the day-to-day delivery of its services. The post holder will collaborate closely with the expertise of fellow team members in support of their work. They will contribute to the collective knowledge, understanding and application of performance measurement and data analytics, propelling opportunity for continuous improvement and transformational service change. Experience in using Management Information Systems to search, interrogate and analyse a variety of data sources will be essential. The ability to share this complex information and make it accessible across the Service and Council, to a multitude of stakeholders will be a necessity. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to be part of the continued development of our Services for children, young people and families, ensuring that their 'what matters' is measured against our responsibilities for providing care and support to them.
