As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing innovative mechanical assemblies within a growing engineering team. Your work will encompass the full product development lifecycle, from conceptual design to large-scale manufacturing, using state-of-the-art 3D CAD and PLM systems. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop mechanical assemblies for new product lines. Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to meet project deliverables. Contribute to the conceptualisation of groundbreaking designs. Ensure precision and quality in manufacturing through tolerance analysis and detailed drafting. Engage in hands-on engineering and prototype procurement. Use advanced SolidWorks tools and PDM/PLM software to enhance productivity. Skills & Experience: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Proficiency with SolidWorks or Inventor for 3D modelling and drafting. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including casting, injection molding, and CNC machining. Experience with tolerance stacks and manual fabrication methods.
