Daily Supply, Long Term Are you a talented Design Technology and Engineering Specialist passionate about inspiring the next generation of creators and problem solvers? Here at GSL Education, we are looking for a Design Technology and Engineering Specialist to work at an OUTSTANDING independent school in Newcastle. This school has high expectations, outstanding results, and facilities. This is a full-time opportunity starting ASAP, ongoing. The school is easy to reach by car or public transport. Working hours are Monday to Friday, and the position is expected to run for the rest of the academic year at least. You will deliver the subjects to A'level and will be able to hit the ground running, delivering exceptional lessons. Enthusiasm, motivation, and a real flair and passion for the subjects are a MUST. Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Design Technology and Engineering across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. Inspire students with hands-on projects and theoretical knowledge in areas like product design, materials, and engineering principles. Use cutting-edge technology and tools to enhance the learning experience. Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to help them achieve their potential. Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with colleagues to develop resources and share best practices. We also require: A UK recognised Teaching Qualification along with UK Classroom teaching experience. An Enhanced DBS on the Update service (this role will start immediately). Availability as detailed above. Great planning and differentiation skills. Experience and confidence delivering to A'level.
