Essential Criteria
MBBS or equivalent medical qualification. Advanced Life Support (ALS) or be in the process of acquiring within a grace period of starting. Desirable Criteria
Completed specialist skills courses (e.g. difficult airways, ATLS/APLS, ultrasound course, etc) MRCEM or FRCEM primary and intermediate Experience
Essential Criteria
Full Registration and a licence to practise with the General Medical Council (GMC). Achieved the competences equivalent to that of a trainee who has completed UK foundation, ST1 and ST2 training or equivalent experience. Desirable Criteria
Experience of working in ACCS specialties ie. ITU/Anesthetics/Acute Medicine. Advanced procedural competences, such as chest drains, ascitic drains and lumbar punctures. Evidence of supervision or training of junior doctors. Essential Criteria
Experience in NHS acute and general medicine at ST2 or equivalent level for at least 12 months. Management of medical admissions at ST3 level.
