We are looking for a confident and super organised Event Manager to join the lovely team at this leading Body within the broadcast sector. Here you’ll get the opportunity to work on a varied range of events - as well as supporting the Head of Events on their larger events and awards programmes, you'll be running your own set of events. Organisation This organisation is a highly regarded and well-known Body that sits at the heart of the TV broadcast industry. The team deliver a really varied range of events in support of their aims, from televised awards events celebrating achievements in their field, to screenings, thought leadership conferences, events, a Graduate Fair, dinners, receptions, seminars & lectures, roundtables ... and everything in between. They also run an annual programme of Masterclass events (webinars and f2f) aimed specifically at the younger generation looking to make their careers in broadcast. Role & Context You’ll be joining a small really friendly and supportive team of Head of Events and one other Event Manager. The role has two strands to it - you will work as direct support to the Head of Events on the logistics and event admin for their larger events and awards programmes, from managing award submissions to guest registration, venue and supplier liaison. You will also be given your own set of varied events and stakeholders to look after, managing all aspects end to end of event delivery, dealing with all logistics, suppliers, and direct stakeholder and speaker contact and coordination. jobber with excellent previous event co-ordination/management experience across varied corporate/association events, excellent admin skills, and great communication skills. Bright, flexible, confident, and proactive - and looking to get your teeth into a busy and varied role ... sitting as it does at the heart of the TV & Broadcast world, someone who is interested in the media/TV would love this role!

Specifically, we are looking for someone who has: Existing events co-ordination/management experience – across f2f and virtual – 4++ years (ideally including varied events such as conference, dinners, awards, panel discussions, webinars, lectures, networking etc) Excellent communication skills, confident and articulate, great interpersonal skills, able to deal with senior level contacts and stakeholders Strong project management skills, and very highly organised Able to manage your own events, take ownership but know when to ask for guidance if needed Really good admin and IT skills, across Word, Excel etc – strong on systems/process Super organised – efficient and with excellent attention to detail A real ‘do-er’ – proactive, flexible, keen, a real team player – bags of common sense! Confident to take a project and run with it, as well as able to do all the event nitty gritty and support others Confident to deal with varied stakeholders and committee members, to keep projects and deliverables on track Excellent communication skills, diplomatic, a good sense of humour, comfortable dealing with people at all levels, stakeholders, suppliers, and Patrons alike.
