The Technical Author is a key role within the business. The publications and drawing delivered by the Through Life Support team are the pictorial and factual documents required for the customer to use the product, safely and in the best possible way. Attention to detail, high standards and a flexible approach are all essential. You will be working on a variety of programs and projects from large scale MOD Contracted vehicles to internal innovation projects. Authoring of publications and content essential to the end user.
Produce technical illustrations for a variety of programs and projects.
Self-motivated and manage your own workflow, in support of the design and project teams.
Assist and advise on product and company design and advertising materials.
High level of communication skills and influence internally to SC Group and with external agencies.
