About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Market Development Executive to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or entry-level professional with a strong interest in business development, marketing, and international events to gain valuable experience and contribute to the success of the company. The successful candidate plays a crucial role in identifying, developing, and penetrating new market segments for MoneyNext. This role requires a strategic, data-driven, and results-oriented individual who can analyse market trends, identify opportunities, and execute go-to-market strategies to drive sustainable growth. You will be required to analyse sales data through our CRM package, working with our marketing, conference, and operations team to develop materials for pitches and maintain client rapport. Key Responsibilities: Market Research & Analysis:

Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify new market segments, target audiences, and competitive landscapes. Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities. Develop and implement marketing and sales campaigns to reach target audiences and generate leads.

Business Development:

Build and maintain relationships with key industry players, partners, and influencers. Schedule and conduct introductory calls and presentations to showcase the value of company events. Identify and pursue potential partnerships. Represent the company at industry events and conferences to build brand awareness and generate leads.

Reporting:

Track sales activities, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and generate regular sales reports. Analyse sales data to identify trends and optimize sales strategies. Ensure the CRM system is kept organised and up-to-date.

Teamwork & Collaboration:

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, product development, and customer success. Share market insights and best practices with colleagues to support overall company growth.

Ideal Candidate Profile: 0-2 years of experience in business development, marketing, events, or a related field. Excellent time management, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to build relationships with key clients. Strong phone and email communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proactive, results-oriented, and highly motivated. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot) is a plus. Proactive towards tasks with an emphasis on exceeding targets. Have a highly positive outlook that contributes further to the culture of the business. Confidence in speaking with senior-level decision-makers. Willingness to travel internationally. About Us: We are MoneyNext. We produce exceptional events in the BFSI sector. Our flagship events take place in London and North Carolina with 3,500 attendees anticipated in 2025. Salary Information, Hours, and Holidays: The salary band for this role is £24,000 - £30,000 per year based on experience plus an excellent, uncapped commission structure. All employees work a 36-hour week with 25 days holiday included. This is an excellent opportunity to significantly contribute towards the growth of an event portfolio on an international stage. This is a hybrid role with the candidate expected to be in our new Bristol office for a set period each week. Candidates will also be required to travel internationally to our events and attend whole team meetings when necessary.
