Our client in Barnstaple is looking for an HGV Class 1/ LGV Cat C+E HIAB Driver. This is an ongoing permanent position.
As a HGV Class 1/ LGV Cat C+E HIAB Driver you must:
Have a valid C+E licence
Have valid CPC + Tacho Cards
Have a valid HIAB Qualification, either Allmi or Itssar
HGV Class 1/ LGV Cat C+E HIAB Driver responsibilities include:
Transporting portable accommodation i.e. containers or portacabins
Using the hydraulic system on the vehicle
The load will be secured with the connector chains
You must be able to climb the ladder in order to do the connection
The successful candidate can expect:
Working Monday – Friday
07:00 am start, may be earlier depending on routes
The pay is £16.50 on PAYE Accrued, PAYE Advanced model is available
Holiday entitlement is 20 days plus Bank Holidays
Pension after qualifying period
After 12 months of service there is a profit share bonus scheme
