Full-Time, Permanent We are seeking an experienced Commercial Maintenance Electrician to join our team servicing a wide range of commercial council buildings across the Wakefield area, including leisure centres, town halls, schools, and more. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified electrician to provide essential maintenance and repairs, ensuring that all systems run efficiently and safely. Key Responsibilities:

Conduct planned and reactive electrical maintenance across various commercial sites, including inspections, testing, and repairs. Ensure compliance with the 18th Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations. Perform electrical testing and inspection, including periodic testing and certification. Maintain, repair, and install electrical systems, including lighting, power, fire alarms, and emergency lighting systems. Respond promptly to emergency repair requests and resolve faults efficiently to minimise disruption. Work within health and safety guidelines and maintain accurate maintenance records. Requirements:

Qualifications: 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (18th Edition) and City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing) are essential. Proven experience in commercial electrical maintenance, ideally within public sector buildings. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Full UK driving licence (a van is provided). Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach. Benefits:
