07:00 to 4:30 Monday to Friday + Overtime. Rate of Pay:
£21 per hour + enhanced rates for overtime. Primary Objectives: Welding and fabrication in a workshop setting. Working knowledge of Architectural/Structural steelwork works and standards. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Time served welder/fabricator. Must be conscientious in approach to welding and fabrication to ensure high standards and quality. Working knowledge of Architectural/structural steelwork fabrication works and standards. Act with honesty, integrity, and accountability. Ability to work well in a team. Qualifications and Experience Requirements: An NC/HNC in welding/fabrication preferred but not essential; at least 4 years’ experience in the above role. Broad knowledge of welding and fabrication operation and procedures as required for the role may include: Manual Metal Arc (MMA) Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) Metal Active/Metal Inert Gas (MAG/MIG) Gas shielded Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) Oxy-Acetylene cutting/welding Machine/workshop power tools and machinery.
