The Role

Nuclear experience is not essential. It is more important that candidates are capable engineers and can attain a minimum level of SC Clearance. Responsibilities and Duties

Low voltage electrical engineering design Production, oversight or guidance of engineering design documentation: Production, oversight or guidance to engineering design calculations: Competent user of cable calculation software Cable calculations Competent user of Dialux Production, oversight or guidance to engineering drawings: Competent user of AutoCAD Schematics Equipment location drawings Production (or oversight) of engineering substantiation documentation Production (or oversight) of operational documentation Production (or oversight) of maintenance documentation Production (or oversight) of commissioning documentation Production (or oversight) of technical file Production (or oversight) of lifetime quality records Oversight and governance of sub-contractors during procurement and manufacturing phase Oversight and governance of commissioning Qualifications and Skills

It is desirable to have the following skills / abilities: Chartered Eng (not essential) At least 3 years past experience of operating in the Senior Engineer Role (or similar) in a project in a highly regulated industry Past experience working in all the ages of the project lifecycle Working knowledge of BS EN 61508 Working knowledge of ONR Licence condition 15 (Periodic Review) ATEX Ability to communicate and work well with others Ability to Author documentation and produce design deliverables Competent in the use of Microsoft 365 products Good organisation Drivers License Personal Attributes
