Location: Northallerton / Mobile Salary: £33,716.04 per annum Type: Full Time, Permanent Closing Date: 7th January 2025 Are you a skilled professional ready to make a difference in the housing sector? We’re seeking a Multi-Skilled Joiner to deliver exceptional repairs and maintenance services across multiple trade disciplines for properties owned or managed by Broadacres. Your work will directly impact the lives of our customers, helping us provide homes of the highest standards and delivering a first-class repairs experience. What We’re Looking For:

Experience:

At least 5 years’ experience in the housing repair/maintenance sector. Proven ability to work effectively with the public. (Desirable) Experience working in a Social Housing or Local Authority environment. (Desirable) Experience within responsive property repairs.

Skills:

Highly skilled in fault finding and repairs with Glazing and UPVC windows and doors. Competent in the usage of mobile handheld devices for accurate data capture. Strong communication skills to engage effectively with colleagues and provide excellent customer service. Able to organise and prioritise a varied workload. Self-motivated with energy, enthusiasm, and a commitment to excellence. Competent in diagnosing maintenance problems and identifying solutions. Able to follow and interpret work instructions, technical drawings, and plans accurately. (Desirable) Knowledge of Schedule of Rates systems.

Knowledge:

In-depth understanding of skills, technology, and safety procedures for maintenance tasks. Knowledge of construction methods and best practices.

Special Requirements:

Willing and able to work outside normal hours when required. Understanding of and commitment to Diversity, Equality, and tenant participation. Hold a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications:

Relevant City & Guilds Basic Craft Certificate. Completion of a recognised apprenticeship or equivalent, and/or minimum NVQ Level 3. (Desirable) Relevant City & Guilds Advanced Craft Certificate.
