As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing on-site operations, ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with project specifications and regulatory requirements. You will need to bring your own equipment to efficiently carry out your duties.
Key Responsibilities: ·Supervise and manage day-to-day site operations for public realm and highways projects. ·Set out and survey sites using appropriate equipment. ·Ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards. ·Conduct site inspections and coordinate with contractors and local authorities. ·Maintain accurate records of site activities, including progress reports and as-built drawings. ·Provide technical support and guidance to the site team. ·Monitor project timelines and budgets, ensuring timely completion of tasks. Qualifications and Experience: ·Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. ·Proven experience as a Site Engineer, preferably on public realm and highways projects. ·Proficiency in using surveying and setting-out equipment (e.g., total stations, GPS). ·Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction practices. ·Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. ·Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently under tight deadlines. ·Valid UK driving license. ·Must have own surveying equipment.
