Seeking Full Time Electrician at HMP Northumberland
Are you a skilled electrician looking for a challenging and rewarding career opportunity? We're seeking a dedicated Electrician to join our team at HMP Northumberland. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in maintaining and improving the infrastructure of the prison, ensuring its safe and efficient operation.
The Ideal Candidate:
Essential:
Successful completion of a City & Guilds, ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification in electrical engineering.
Successful completion of an electrician apprenticeship or have equivalent experience working as an electrician.
Understanding and knowledge of I.E.E. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
It is desirable that you are an Electrically Authorised Person (AP) but training for this can be obtained through this role.
Desirable Skills/Competencies:
High level of interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate within a team or as an individual where required.
Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving work environment.
Proven problem-solving capabilities to address challenges and obstacles effectively.
