In this role, you will ensure the precise manufacturing and assembly of high-quality systems and related components through skilled TIG welding and fabrication. You will maintain product quality and integrity by ensuring that all welded and fabricated parts meet stringent safety and performance standards, contributing to the overall success of the business.
Main responsibilities for the Tig Welder / Fabricator:
Welding and Fabrication
Perform high-quality TIG welding on stainless steel, ensuring precision and strong welds.
Fabricate custom drainage systems, grates, channels, and related components.
Cut, shape, and assemble metal components as per technical drawings and specifications.
Work with various materials including stainless steel and aluminium with varying thickness from 0.9mm to 5.0mm.
Operate welding machines, grinders, cutting tools, and other machinery required for fabrication.
Inspect welds and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Identify defects or issues in fabrication and take corrective actions.
Skills / Qualifications required for the Tig Welder / Fabricator:
Proven experience in TIG welding and metal fabrication, preferably in the construction sector.
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work, delivered on time.
Ability to operate welding machines and other fabrication tools safely and effectively.
Familiarity with health and safety standards in manufacturing.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Comfortable working in a welding bay environment.
Hours of work for the Tig Welder / Fabricator:
Monday to Friday days, 39 hours per week
