Our Equipment Technician supports the activities of the laboratories by maintaining equipment operations. To provide technical help and support the teams for various types of laboratory equipment in both our sites. Location:

Full time on site, split between Earby, BB18 6JZ and Skipton, BD23 3AG. Perform routine equipment maintenance in accordance with the planned maintenance schedules. Partner with other Equipment Technicians to proportion maintenance activities. Communicate with laboratory leaders to ensure minimal disruption of the laboratory from maintenance activities and to prioritize equipment of highest need. Act as the first point of contact for equipment users experiencing problems. Ensure equipment faults are rectified in a timely manner. Key Tasks Execute equipment qualification protocols and generate planned maintenance reports. Perform troubleshooting investigations, risk assessment, and root cause analysis. Raise purchase orders and procure equipment consumables. Perform routine monitoring activities of equipment and facilities. Perform basic IQ/OQ/PQ activities. Assist in the implementation of improvement projects. Technical experience of using Chromatography, Mass Spectrometry, and a CDS is beneficial. Knowledge of equipment validation. Knowledge of, or experience working to regulations including GMP and ISO 17025. Benefits Boughton Day Option of a fixed day off every 2 or 3 weeks through salary sacrifice.
