As a Maintenance Electrician at NNL you will be performing routine maintenance on a wide range of Electrical and Instrumentation plant systems. You will also carry out project work, breakdown repairs and safe isolations. Exciting news! NNL is piloting a 4-day work pattern for our Compliance Engineering Maintenance Team at the Central Site. This work pattern is designed to provide our employees with greater flexibility, which in turn supports their work-life balance while maintaining our standards of service. Main responsibilities

Essential Criteria for Maintenance Electrician: Time served Electrician or Instrument Mechanic holding recognised apprenticeship (e.g. NVQ level 3 Electrical Instrumentation or equivalent). Able to understand single-line electrical drawings, instructions and manuals. Proficient in English and Maths. Become Developed Vetting cleared (this includes but is not limited to identity, employment, financial, criminal record checks, interview plus 10 years of UK residency). Self-motivated, driven and resilient. Able to make correct and informed decisions under pressure. Evidence of self-motivation with demonstrable levels of drive, energy and resilience. Required to become Appointed as a Nominated Person Electrical. Desirable Criteria for Maintenance Electrician: Demonstrate knowledge of the Operation & Maintenance requirements associated with their area.
