Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Welder Fabricator with expertise in MIG and TIG welding to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively on various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of metals including stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal components and structures.
Inspect and test welds for structural integrity and quality standards.
Maintain welding equipment and tools to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Adhere to health and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment.
Work collaboratively with team members and project managers to meet deadlines and project specifications.
Key Requirements:
+5-years' experience in MIG & TIG welding and fabrication demonstrable by associated qualifications and training.
Light welding and general fabrication experience for electrical containment systems and associated stainless steel support structures.
Ability to work from technical drawings.
Be capable of drafting simple fabrication drawings for customer acceptance.
Good attention to detail.
Good understanding of current H&S requirements for welding and other hot works.
MEWP operator experience.
Good communication skills.
To be a team player.
Full UK Driving Licence.
