Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Counter Sales Associate with a preference for HVAC or plumbing knowledge. Solid computer skills are also preferred, as you will be on the computer for a big part of the day. Other duties will include answering the phone, stocking shelves, transferring material between branches and vendors, and maintaining a clean, neat work area. The ideal candidate will assist customers with product selections, provide exceptional service, and contribute to the overall success of our sales department. Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of HVAC or plumbing products is preferred but not required. Responsibilities:
Greet customers and assist them with product inquiries and purchases. Recommend products based on customer needs and preferences. Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Provide information on product features, pricing, and availability. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and targets. Keep abreast of product knowledge and industry trends to better assist customers. Additional Requirements:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills. Willingness to learn and adapt to changes in product offerings. Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as needed. Benefits:
