The successful Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:
To attend reactive maintenance problems and repair breakdowns in a safe, permanent and controlled manner, to the standard expected within a food environment. Ability to read electrical drawings and fault find on 415v 3 phase circuits/240v single phase and 24v control circuits. Reactive/Breakdown maintenance - Due to the nature of the business, the workloads are split between breakdown maintenance (covering production) 50%, planned preventative maintenance 30%, and project work 20%. Continuous improvement of all production/packaging machinery.

We would love to see your CV if you are a Maintenance Engineer with the following:
Qualified to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent, ONC mechanical/electrical, BTEC level 3 in mechanical & electrical/electronic engineering). A proven track record in an engineering and fault-finding role gained from an FMCG environment (ideally the food industry). A good understanding of HACCP principles and ideally IEE qualification (17th or 18th edition wiring regulations). Has excellent analytical, planning & organizing skills. Awareness and understanding of key legislative and safety requirements within the engineering field. Ability to work well under pressure and assertive when making decisions to keep things moving smoothly.
The salary is advertised at £43k. As a weekend Maintenance Engineer/PPM engineer, you will be working Friday/Saturday/Sunday 17.30 - 05.30.
