Location: Corby Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off nights Salary: £30,500 Are you detail-oriented and passionate about quality? Join our team as a Quality Control Technician! About the Role As a Quality Control Technician, you'll play a key role in ensuring that our factory consistently meets customer expectations by maintaining high-quality standards across all production areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organized individual who enjoys problem-solving and working collaboratively with teams across the factory. Key Responsibilities: Inspect finished goods to ensure they meet quality standards. Perform on-line quality checks and report any non-conformities to the production team and Quality Manager. Verify operators’ paperwork and checks for accuracy. Ensure goods and materials are correctly identified at all stages of production. Assist the QC team with customer return inspections. Conduct routine material testing, including tensile and dart tests. Update production records for specific customer requirements. Complete test reports and necessary documentation. Carry out safety and compliance checks, including Fire Alarm tests and weekly hygiene/locker inspections. Report and address any non-conformance with BRC standards. Communicate effectively with colleagues to uphold quality and compliance standards. What You’ll Need: Proficiency with measuring tools such as tape measures and micrometres. Basic math skills and the ability to read instructions in English (Entry Level 2 or above). Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Strong organizational and time management skills. A positive attitude and flexibility to adapt to dynamic workloads. The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
