The Digital Collections Assistant is based at the Foundation’s headquarters at Henry Moore Studios and Gardens in Perry Green, Hertfordshire, where Henry Moore lived from 1940 to 1986. Working closely with curatorial, registrarial and archive colleagues, the post-holder supports the Digital Manager with the review, updating, publication and maintenance of our Henry Moore collection databases. The role supports the Foundation’s wider team with the delivery of its expanding programme of digital activities. Responsibilities: Assist the Digital Manager with the preparation, publication and maintenance of the Henry Moore digital catalogue raisonné; Assist the Digital Manager with the upkeep of the Foundation’s digital collection databases and access to online collections; Enter and maintain data and documents in the Foundation’s collections databases, including The Museum System (TMS), following strict data entry protocols; Prepare and upload digital images and other media to the databases and the website’s Content Management System; Support the Collections team and wider Foundation with the realisation of our digital ambitions across a variety of platforms; Assist with public access to digital information generally; Provide general database and information support to the Collections and Programmes team; Any other duties that may reasonably be required.
