£65K plus 10% bonus and £6k car allowance Candidates must be willing and eligible to go through SC clearance for this role. The Tooling Technical Specialist will work in a small team as part of a large programme to provide specialist implementation support and services for the network management systems. Responsibilities: Understanding design updates for new changes, implementation, configuration, and testing to deliver medium to high complexity work packages as part of customer delivery projects. Management of VMware SMARTS Event management systems. Management of VMware NCM Configuration management systems. Management of SevOne Performance Monitoring systems. Management of Cisco ISE system for controlling access to Network devices. Liaise with NMS Architects for design updates, development, and patch testing. Implementing technical changes and ensuring good Service Handover (including handover documentation). Able to work under pressure, team-working, and sharing knowledge between team members. Learning and applying recently gained skills to solve technical problems. Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a broad technical knowledge of VMware, Cisco, and SevOne tools, as well as an understanding of RedHat Enterprise Linux, standard MPLS network, Ethernet Access Links, and a good understanding of Juniper and Cisco product sets.
