The purpose of this role is to drive and assist the SEO Site Manager with the day to day management and optimisation of the SEO channel. Working closely with the wider digital marketing team, you will be responsible for building and optimising our organic performance for Frasers group sports websites.

The responsibility:

Make and implement recommendations to improve SEO channel performance and rankings Recommend changes to website architecture, content, internal linking and other factors to improve SEO rankings for target keywords Work with the content writer to drive SEO in content creation to optimise copy on category pages and landing pages, as well as to produce FAQ pages and buying guides Use tools such as Botify and ScreamingFrog to identify issues that can cause a negative impact in SERP. Perform in-depth technical SEO audits of websites as well as rectifying any issues Use tools like PI-datametrics and SEMRush for insights and highlight opportunities to improve performance Assist with link building strategies and perform backlink link audits Along with your benefits package we also offer a wide range of perks for our colleagues:

What's next?

Our Recruitment Team will be reviewing applications and all candidates will receive a response, whether you are successful or unsuccessful. Shortlisted applicants may be asked to confirm a few key details before being booked in for a first stage interview with the Recruiter- this will be behaviourally focussed and centred around how you align with our Culture and Values. If successful we anticipate two further interview stages with the Hiring Manager/wider team which will be more technically focussed and could include a presentation/task so we can see your skills in action. Hands on experience in an SEO-focused role (in house or agency) Experience with keyword research and strategy, daily optimization, and in-depth analysis Ability to confidently report on key performance metrics to managers Ability to work to tight deadlines and respond to high priority requests Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Ability to self-manage and keep track of multiple projects Genuine passion for SEO and online marketing Experience with content marketing and social campaigns Continuously and proactively improves the quality of service delivered Willingly takes the initiative and suggests new approaches Respects individual's views and positively contributes to a learning environment in which individuals are supported and encouraged to excel Behaving consistently and with integrity at all times, realising everyone's potential to get the best possible result and live the values
