Social Media Specialist

SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST £30,000-£35,000 We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Specialist to join a small but dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance our clients brand presence and engage their audience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies across multiple platforms, producing high-quality graphics and videos, and utilising analytics to inform and improve strategic decisions. This role requires a mix of strategic thinking, creativity, and data-driven decision-making. This is a permanent full time role based in the Cheadle area that is office based only. Responsibilities : Create and implement social media strategies that align with the company's brand identity, goals, and target audience. Manage and oversee social media content calendars, ensuring timely and consistent posting across all platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok). Design high-quality graphics and visuals using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and Canva. Produce engaging video content using video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Rush, Final Cut Pro, or similar). Mentor and support the Digital Marketing Apprentice in all aspects of social media Utilise social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Sprout Social or In-App analytics to track performance metrics, including engagement, reach, impressions, and follower growth. Analyse data to gain insights and inform future social media strategies and campaigns. Prepare and present regular reports on social media performance to stakeholders Requirements : Proven experience as a Social Media Executive or similar role, with a portfolio of successful social media campaigns, graphics, and video content. Strong understanding of social media platforms, their respective audiences, and best practices. Proficient in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or Canva. Skilled in video production and editing using software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar. Excellent writing skills with the ability to create engaging and persuasive captions.
