Our Finance team based in our Swindon office is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their Cashiering team as a Legal Cashier on a full-time basis. Part of the larger Finance function, you will be supporting with managing client accounts and ensuring compliance alongside a number of other tasks and responsibilities. To excel in this role, you’ll need to be organized, methodical in your thinking, and able to juggle multiple tasks. We’re keen to have someone who can think of the bigger picture to ensure we meet the needs of the business now and in the future. You’ll get involved in a variety of tasks which support the Finance team and the wider business, so if you’re a team player, you will fit in well. The types of things you will be involved in include: Preparing, processing, and recording receipts and payments Assisting with email and telephone enquiries Working closely with other team members, Fee Earners, and support staff Processing various requests received from Fee Earners in a timely manner and in accordance with company guidelines The team is busy making sure that everything runs smoothly for the effective servicing of our Clients and Fee Earners, so someone who can demonstrate that they are good with numbers, can quickly build relationships, is a clear communicator, and is happy to speak to stakeholders both on the phone or via email are all essential skills for our next team member. Ideally, you will come from a Law Firm or a Professional Services background; however, we recognize that there are many transferrable skills to do well in this role. If you’re keen to learn, develop, and can demonstrate that you could excel in this role, then we would be keen to hear from you.
