Driving sales through managing, coaching, motivating, and developing the internal sales team, creating and monitoring budgets and performance targets. Develop, monitor, and drive a robust internal sales function, with a focus on both customer and employee engagement. Ensure all team members deliver optimum levels of customer service to customers at all times. Scope, manage and monitor KPI's and create meaningful MI. Generate new and repeat business by truly understanding the customer requirements and spending habits. Accurately forecast future sales and create sales plans. Identify and make recommendations to improve any lapses in customer spending. Work closely with the Ecommerce and Marketing teams to drive promotions and be alive to new product developments. Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders within operations, to support a seamless end to end customer journey. Promote and ensure the good reputation of the company and its individual divisions. YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE:
Superb communication skills with the ability to modify your style where needed. Proven experience in managing, coaching and developing an internal sales team. Extensive sales experience within FMCG, Retail or similar industries. Being sales driven and highly motivated by results. Extremely well organised and able to prioritise tasks effectively. Able to demonstrate excellent time management skills, and the ability to multitask. Strong negotiation skills. Clear understanding of the full sales life cycle and customer journey.
