Sales & Customer Service Advisor , you will report to the National Customer Service Manager and will be responsible for managing the end-to-end customer experience, from initial contact and quotations to delivery and invoicing, resolving any queries and complaints should they arise. You will be responsible for delivering and exceeding targeted sales volumes whilst performing set administration tasks as required, developing cross-functional working relationships ensuring the best possible customer experience. will include (not exhaustive): Proactively managing applicable accounts and maintaining positive customer relationships to meet or exceed targeted sales volumes. Assisting the account manager including SPAFs, haulage rates, price changes. Identifying leads by responding to enquiries. Accurately maintaining up-to-date background data required for the Sales process. Preparing & inputting customer quotations on SAP/CRM, updating and amending customer prices in a timely manner when required. Responding to customer complaints, from investigation to closure. Month end tasks including customer reports, delivered prices & PGM’s, Energy & Environmental surcharges. Processing orders and liaising with customers, including changes in customer requirements, tracking dispatch to ensure timely delivery of goods. Liaising with external haulier schedulers, providing accurate and timely information to customers, and facilitating effective scheduling. Liaising with internal production teams, confirming stock levels for orders. Managing 3rd party purchase materials including raising purchase orders, liaising with suppliers and maintaining stock levels. Managing and resolving internal and external customer invoice queries in a timely and professional manner, raising credit and debit notes as required. The Ideal Candidate

to be in receipt of the following skills and experience: Proven experience in a customer accounts/service environment. Good written and verbal communication. Ability to build positive customer relationships. High level of IT literacy including Microsoft Office; experience of SAP would be advantageous. Planning and organisational skills, able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. Influencing and negotiation skills. Desirable knowledge of products, packing options & proven routes to market. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Have an understanding of export inco terms & payment methods including L.O.C’s. Hold a minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths, English and Science. NVQ Level 3 in customer service would be desirable. Why Us
