improving the emotional well being of young people

through the delivery of

highly engaging, interactive and accessible creative media workshops, educational programmes, community focused film and music projects. The workshop facilitator role involves supporting our team in delivering an energetic programme that involves filmmaking, creative media and resilience focused workshops to groups of young people and students aged 11-18. By joining our team as a workshop facilitator

you will contribute significantly towards the reduction of social isolation in our community and increase social engagement opportunities for young people and students. Becoming a workshop facilitator with us will give you the opportunity to: Gain valuable experience and career led skills in the creative sector Gain skills that will enhance your CV; e.g. video / film / music production projects, project /event planning Learn from creative professionals using modern video and film production techniques Make a positive social impact building resilience in young people and students Meet like minded people who share a similar passion Funk Soul Media Cic will cover enhanced Access NI checks costs for recruited volunteers who participate in delivering school programmes. We are looking for a female and male aged between 20 - 30 to join our team. A background in video production and filmmaking is not essential as full training and support will be provided. Recruited volunteers will be reimbursed for travel and other out of pocket expenses. Tasks and Responsibilities

Encouraging and motivating workshop participants Supporting our workshop facilitators in delivering games and group activities Guiding workshop participants through resilience focused video shoots Guiding workshop participants through filmmaking and creative media focused activities Skills and Experience Gained

Interactive/Social Media/SEO Music Arts Online Flash/Video Production Photography Resilience Commitment: 2 hours every week until October 15, 2024
