Do you enjoy getting involved in the wider aspects of design (eg communicating with manufacturing, site, attending design meetings)? We are working with a company with a wide presence in housing developments who have a growing team in Peterborough, now seeking to increase their team of Timber Frame Designers.
Do you have:
Excellent understanding of technical drawings and construction design
5 years or more designing timber frame
Good Revit skills and/or specialist design software experience (eg hsbCAD, Mitek, Wolf, Consultec etc)
Confidence in picking up new software
As a Timber Frame Designer, you will be:
Working on several projects running concurrently
Preparing designs of walls, floors, and roofs
Providing specialist technical information to your colleagues in production, scheduling, and site teams
Ensuring accurate and buildable designs in line with design and warranty requirements and structural engineering information provided
Resolving technical and architectural queries
Working as a Timber Frame Designer for this major employer, your benefits will include:
