About the role… Working with the instore team, your role will be to manage and maintain the overall VM standards of Harvey Nichols, ensuring we are showcasing the highest standards possible to our clients. Carry out daily VM standard checks with the shop floor team, ensuring all areas of the floor are well maintained, including highlighting any areas that require maintenance and/or cleaning and following up with the relevant teams. Perform VM rotations across all floors and categories following a structured calendar that is shared and agreed with the Store General Manager. Leverage key sales data to make informed VM changes, to aid in driving the overall performance of the business. Liaise with key stakeholders and collaborate on projects such as pop-ups, in-store events, and any other ad hoc requests, ensuring the highest VM standards are presented and maintained. Partner with store ops and stock to ensure all products displayed are accounted for and the necessary stock requirements are met. Conduct regular VM training with the store team, educating them on all key areas of VM, ensuring they are given all the necessary information and tools to assist you in maintaining the floor. Working with the HO team, implement seasonal schemes, both in store and windows, as and when requested and work with local suppliers where and when needed, to get the best quality work for the best price. Share VM reports with the HO VM Team as and when requested and ensure these are stored on share point to create an accurate record of all VM rotations. Working with in house tools, manage and produce any necessary signage, following the company guidelines. Keep an accurate record of all VM Tools including props, mannequins and hangers and ensure they are well maintained and replaced when and where needed. Ensure that all equipment is maintained correctly. Ensure a safe environment is maintained for customers, staff and suppliers. Ensure all VM installations meet statutory requirements for H&S/Risk Assessment standards and that store team is trained on procedures which minimize the risk of injury and damage. Is this you? We are looking for individuals who embrace diversity, love a challenge, are passionate about luxury retail and are looking for something uniquely different. Good organisational, planning and time management skills and high attention to detail. High problem-solving capability. Strong visual merchandising skills and aesthetic sensibility. Creative experience in styling/merchandising of multiple product categories. Flexible with ability to follow direction and receptive to constructive feedback. Ability to adapt to fast pace reactive environment and frequent change of priorities. Agile approach to work. Keen interest for the fashion industry. Previous experience of Visual Merchandising within retail/luxury fashion house. Experience in VM planning, co-ordination and execution. Excellent Creative software skills (Adobe Photoshop, InDesign), PowerPoint and Excel. Digital photography skills with good sense of composition.
