Position: Part Time Sales and Marketing Assistant Salary: £15.00 per hour or £11,700 per annum (based upon part time hours, 15 hours per week) plus very good company benefits and commission pay/yearly bonus Location: Burgess Hill, West Sussex Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 09:30-14:30 – 15 hours per week. Working hours could increase if the job holder wishes to work additional hours in the future. Working hours can also be tweaked if necessary (days must be Tuesday-Thursday). The role can also be worked as hybrid (office and home). Workplace based close to Burgess Hill. Due to workplace location, it is essential to be a driver and have your own transport. Plenty of free parking on site. The role: An exciting opportunity as a Part Time Sales and Marketing Assistant, where you will be immersed in the dynamic world of Shipping and Distribution. This role offers a fantastic starting point for a career in this sector, involving professional customer service, B2B sales, and account management duties. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Sales and Marketing Assistant will be responsible for generating leads and closing contracts. There are no hard selling expectations, and all leads are of a B2B nature – the role is mainly about building rapport and generating new contacts/account management. Building a sales strategy for the business. Developing new accounts and opening avenues for new clients. Updating management on the latest trends in the market and assisting in developing new businesses, products, or service lines. Managing client visits as and when required. Managing ongoing client relationships. Using and updating the CRM system. Key skills and competencies required: Experience in sales and marketing/account management/B2B. Good negotiation skills. Strong interpersonal skills, able to build rapport and credibility quickly. Excellent time management skills and strong attention to detail.
