Are you ready to take on a new challenge with a dynamic organisation? Our client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Roadworker to join their team for a temporary contract from January 20, 2025, to April 11, 2025. This role is perfect for those who enjoy hands-on work and have a passion for maintaining our highways!

Key Responsibilities: Lead maintenance teams in performing minor highway and street lighting tasks, including drain laying, trenching, and kerbing. Operate specialist vehicles and heavy plant while conducting routine checks and maintenance. Direct the work of lower-graded operatives when senior staff are unavailable. Perform manual excavation and utilise CAT scans for identifying faults in highway infrastructure. Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation during all operations.

Minimum Requirements: Class 2 driving licence and groundwork experience. Preferred: Hiab experience and a basic understanding of electrical systems. Ability to work at heights and supervise others safely. Excellent communication skills for liaising with various stakeholders.
