Overview of Company:
The Operations Manager is responsible for realising the client’s outbound delivery requirements from the Consolidation Centre.
The role will both instil confidence in the client of the facilities ability to deliver against a demanding schedule and develop relationships with third party Contractors in delivering scheme requirements to the field. Outline of Role:
Provide mechanical engineering design services to clients and support projects teams with design services. Operate as a mechanical engineering subject matter expert. Responsibilities:
Produce mechanical engineering designs Produce calculations and supporting analysis to develop mechanical solutions for clients Conduct surveys and site assessments to identify suitable mechanical solutions Meet with clients and other stakeholders to determine requirements Support contractors with development of suitable mechanical designs Assess the suitability of contractor designs and provide critical analysis Conduct inspections during and on completion to ensure alignment with design standards Work with wider team to develop solutions to client needs Production of accurate drawings Production of accurate design calculations Producing work to client deadlines Responding to stakeholder queries promptly Knowledge/Experience Required:
Mechanical engineering experience Knowledge of retail engineering solutions Experience of designing and delivering mechanical engineering solutions Producing technical design drawings using suitable software Producing design calculations using suitable software Skills Required:
CAD & Revit Producing design calculations and associated reports Data analysis Good written and oral communication Presentation skills Report writing Qualifications:
Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering Benefits:
