FABRICATOR/WELDER

Monday to Friday, 12-hour shifts Salary:
Up to £25 per hour plus overtime available
Due to the growth of the company, we are currently seeking experienced Fabricators/Welders based near Ulverston, Cumbria. Our client is located 40 minutes from Junction 36 on the M6.
The successful candidate will be able to work from both technical drawings and verbal descriptions supplied by our clients' design team and will fabricate various mild steel structures and sections including chute works, ducting, guarding, and structural steel using solid wire MIG welding practices.
Skills and Qualifications:
2 years previous experience as a Fabricator/Welder is essential Able to read and interpret technical fabrication drawings Proficient in the use of guillotines, mag drills, grinders, track burner, and other steel working equipment Telehandler and forklift ticket is desirable Experience or certificates in abrasive wheels and lifting and slinging would be an advantage
Salary:
Up to £72k per annum - negotiable depending on experience Schedule:
