We've got a fantastic opportunity for a Night Shift Engineer to join our client on a fantastic commercial property in Edinburgh. Our client is a market leader within building services and is well-renowned for offering valuable experience to their staff. You will be part of an experienced team, receive further training, and have the necessary opportunities to progress further internally.
This is a static role, following a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, night shifts only.
For this role, you will carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems on site, fault find, liaise with subcontractors, report into the site manager, and ensure the client is satisfied with the service provided.
Night Shift Engineer Duties:
PPM (Planned preventative maintenance) & Reactive maintenance
Electrical Fault-Finding
Single & Three Phase Power
Emergency Lighting
Fire Alarms
BMS Operation
AHUs
FCUs
Generators
VAV/VRFs
Water Treatment (Tap Tests, Dosing, Cooling Tower Checks, etc.)
Cooling Towers
Pumps & Motors
Site Folders, E-logbooks, Managing Contractors, Audits, Quotations
Night Shift Engineer Requirements:
At least 3 years experience in commercial building maintenance
No qualifications required, holding C&G/NVQ or equivalent in Electrical Installations or Mechanical Engineering would be beneficial
Live in commutable distance
Very Client facing
Salary and Benefits:
£40,000 - £45,000 per annum
4 on / 4 off shift pattern, night shift only
