A permanent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Workshop Technician to join our workshop in Aberdeen. This is a full-time position offering 37.5 hours per week with opportunities for overtime. You will be expected to carry out the inspection, service, repair, and test of hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical equipment. Main Responsibilities: Inspection, service, repair, and test of all equipment brought into the workshop, including hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical equipment, depending on allocation and experience, such as winches, pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, hot oil flushing of hoses and pipework, hook balls/blocks, and crane booms. Ensure the workshop area is kept clean and tidy and all company equipment is maintained in good order. Ensure project requirements are met within the allocated time or raise issues with the Supervisor. Assist in training newer team members as required. Uphold company standards and work in line with company systems and objectives. May be required to work on site locally as needed. You are? To be successful in the role, you will have completed a mechanical apprenticeship or achieved a formal qualification and have solid experience in the repair and maintenance of the outlined equipment. You will have proven experience either in a Senior Technician capacity or as an experienced Technician looking for a step up in role. This is an onshore workshop-based role, so candidates must have previous experience in this environment.
