Quantity Surveyor - Construction & Property Team
One of NI's leading companies, consistently in the top 10 within Ulster Business Top 100 Companies, requires an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their award-winning Construction & Property Team.
The team is an in-house collective of project managers, architects, engineers, consultants, and technicians focused on delivering best-in-class, sustainable projects.
You will be working on new and refurbishment projects valued between £50k to £3m. This position will be suited to a candidate with strong relevant experience from a commercially focused background in construction management. This role is based in Northern Ireland and will not usually require travel outside of this region.

As Quantity Surveyor, you will:
Assist the Property team in delivering the optimum budget for all developments, modernisations, and acquisition of new sites and stores.
Take ownership of establishing and maintaining a clearly defined set of metrics to drive consistency of cost.
Produce Capex investment budgets and appraisal papers, providing reporting to management on budget analysis.
Commercially manage projects from inception through to on-site, working with design teams and project managers to ensure the project is developed in line with capital investment.
Support the property leadership team with reporting and preparing documentation for all projects where required.
Prepare cost plans and budgets for review processes, including associated administration for project review meetings.
Prepare tender documentation, contracts, and orders for contractors and suppliers.
Develop people through effective supervision, coaching, and mentoring of more junior members of the commercial team.
Effectively manage relationships with various stakeholders and suppliers, both internally and externally, influencing constructively as required.
Address any challenges/problems arising to ensure that property projects are delivered to meet required standards in terms of quality, timelines, and budgets.
