Exciting opportunity on offer for an experienced Test & Calibration Engineer to join a leading UK company, with a great reputation in the industry for the bespoke solutions they offer to their loyal client base.

This fantastic company specialise in the calibration & repair of test equipment. Due to a very full order book, they are now looking to add an experienced Test & Calibration Engineer to their passionate & hardworking team.

In this role you will be workshop based & will be responsible for the calibration, repair, and maintenance of a variety of test and measurement equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant standards. The role is based in Southport and offers an opportunity to work in a highly specialized environment with a focus on precision and quality.

The role: Perform calibration and repair of test equipment in line with ISO/IEC 17025 standards. Maintain detailed records of calibration and repair work, ensuring traceability and compliance. Liaise with customers to provide updates on equipment status and discuss technical requirements. Conduct quality checks to ensure all equipment meets the necessary specifications. Support the development and improvement of calibration processes and procedures. The person: Proven experience in the calibration of test equipment. Strong technical knowledge of test and measurement equipment across various types. Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work. Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment efficiently. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
