Prestigious commercial vehicle company based in Loughborough are looking for an experienced Commercial Vehicle Paint Sprayer/Technician to join them. Working within the workshop team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the aesthetic and protective quality of the commercial vehicles. You will be responsible for preparing, priming, and painting vehicles to the highest standards, contributing to the overall quality and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities of the position:

Perform surface preparation, masking, priming, and painting of commercial vehicles. Mix and match paint to ensure colour accuracy and consistency. Inspect and identify defects in painted surfaces, making necessary corrections. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all equipment is in optimal working condition. Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Qualifications and experience required:

You will possess a City & Guilds or equivalent. Proven experience as a Commercial Vehicle Paint Sprayer or similar role. Solid understanding of painting techniques, equipment, and materials. Ability to match colours and achieve desired finishes. Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in a workshop environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes. The position is working Monday to Thursday 8am to 4:30pm, leaving at 3:30pm on Friday. Salary depending on skills and experience up to GBP18.50 per hour. The company also offers a signing bonus, which is paid after 6 months of continuous service.
