Are you an experienced Quality Manager with a track record of delivering excellence within a fast-paced automotive environment? This opportunity, based in Kings Norton, Birmingham will provide an experienced Quality Manager with the chance to work in a challenging environment, driving through a wide range of changes to help improve the level of quality product delivered to the end client. Successful candidates must possess practical engineering experience, excellent understanding of ISO9001, IATF16949 and Environmental Standard ISO14001.

Duties of Quality Manager:

Effectively delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring optimal utilisation of their skills and strengths Attend and actively participate in daily stand-up meetings to provide updates on current tasks and progress Develop and maintain comprehensive status reports to track project progress, key milestones, and deliverables Communicate clearly on completed work, ongoing projects, and any roadblocks encountered Communicate findings and progress to stakeholders through regular reports, meetings, and presentations Ensure transparency and alignment across teams by providing clear and concise status updates Lead and supervise a team, ensuring effective performance and motivation Act as a brand ambassador, positively representing the company in all interactions both within and outside the organization Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, communication, and professional development Maintain Quality and Environmental and Health and Safety standards to ISO9001, IATF16949 and ISO14001 standards Report to Senior Management the performance of the QMS and any need for improvement Liaise with external assessment body on all matters related to the external accreditation process Control internal and external quality performance Utilise lean manufacturing tools to improve quality

Skills and Attributes required by successful candidates for the role of Quality Manager:

Degree Level qualification in Engineering or other relevant discipline Excellent understanding of ISO9001, IATF16949 and Environmental Standard ISO14001 Previous experience as Quality Manager Prioritise customer satisfaction Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of company operations and workflows Experience with MRP systems and planning processes Experience with leading and developing people Excellent communication skills

Hours of Work: Mon to Thurs 7 am to 4 pm, Fri 7 am to 1 pm Salary: £45,000 to £60,000 p.a. - negotiable dependent on experience
