THE ROLE:

Responsible for providing technical support on our offers including Heaters, Controller, Recorders, Power, Systems and solutions for European customers, global businesses and partners across the world.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Phone, email support at 1st level for our offers including Heaters, Controllers, Recorders, Power and systems and solutions offers. Managing and Logging of Customer Support issues in our Issues Management tool, CX. Support for other business. Nominated non-support activities required by the Technical Support Manager or Team Leader.Geographical areas of responsibility are:

End users - Global Customers and Partners.SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Skills:

Must be able to effectively communicate in the English language. Highly technically competent with excellent diagnostic and analytical skills. Ability to work calmly and logically. Self-motivated with good organisational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Confident with PCs and common office applications. Confident when talking on the telephone with customers, salespeople, and other related business contacts.Experience:

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the following subject areas.

Industrial instrumentation, control theory and its practical application. Industrial sensors and measurement technologies. Common communications protocols including RS232, RS485, fieldbus and ethernet protocols. Some knowledge of our or similar competitor products (training will be provided to the right candidate).Qualifications:

Country dependent but for the UK HND/HNC in Electrical and Electronic engineering or equivalent local qualification.WHAT WE OFFER:
